Nano-needling Therapy is very similar to micro-needling and both treatments address many of the same skincare concerns. Both treatments utilize a needling device that punctures the skin, which helps the product fully absorb while creating cellular turnover.  The main difference is the depth at the needles penetrate the skin. Micro-needling penetrates the deep dermis, while Nano-needling only reaches the upper layer of the epidermis. 

For optimal comfort, a numbing cream will be applied 30 minutes before the procedure.  Before starting, the numbing cream is removed and Dermalogica's Pro Restore Concentrate is applied. Specifically designed to work with micro--injury treatments. With a complex of active ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Beta Glucan, and Growth Factors, just to name a few! The Pro Pen is then glided over targeted areas of the face in a multi directional pattern to get full coverage for optimal rejuvenation. 

Following micro-needling expect the skin to be red and flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. Some clients will experience mild swelling, and tightness, which can last 24 –72 hours. Total healing time depends of the depth of the treatment, skin type, and skin condition. Expect slight peeling and dry skin.
